Well, my C7 filing is over and will receive the discharge notification sometime in October 08'. I fully understand the C7 discharge will stay on my CR for 7-10 years. But I have a few questions.

    1. What happens to the current negative remarks on my CR?

    2. I found a program called "Credit-Aid 2008", that suppose to help with creating documents to help remove the negative remarks. Is this program
    worth it?

    3. Can I request the CRA's remove the negative remarks since judgment has been rendered?

    Any information is appreciated.

The current negative remarks can remain for 7 years from date of negative remark.

    Never heard of Credit-Aid.

You can always dispute the negative remarks with the CRAs, and if they are unverifiable, they can be removed.

Thank you for responding to my question but I'm not clear with your response. If I understand you correctly, even after c7, the negative remarks and the c7 will remain on my credit report for up to 10 years?

I was under the assumption, the c7 will remain but I thought I would be able to contact the 3 CRA's requesting removal of negative remarks.

They should show "included in bankruptcy" on the account.

The negatives that existed before the date you filed can remain for their full 7 year life. Accounts should be reporting after discharge as Included in BK, and with a -0- balance.
