Just got a dispute back from hsbc.the report says charge off/never late. Also has bk date as Oct.23 2006.actuall date july 2007 filed disc dec 2007.Should i redispute it.
Why do you want to redispute it? If the actual year of your filing was in 2007 and they report it as filed in 2006 it will come off in 2013, not in 2014. You gained/won a year by them reporting it incorrectly. Take it as a gift.
I thought about that and just needed the advice the only thing that confused me was the charge off/never late, then also transferred to another lender whom i've never heard from.
It just recently changed it wasn't there in feb 2008 nor july 2008 sept 2008,it justs seems strange that it's there now.
Is this Experian? They are jacking with BKs on reports. The HSBC account, was it current when you filed? They don't get to report it as a charge off if it wasn't charged off on the date of filing. They sell off bad debts at a rapid pace...you probably won't ever hear from whomever they sold it to, as it was IIB.
It was under a credit repair program they had agreeded to yes it was experian, but it wasn't current unless they re-aged it then charged it off,At one point i had talked to them and they asked what i wanted to do and i hadn't decided yet so i told them i was considering everything front settlement to bk.Never told them what i was going to dh they had sent it to leading edge rec.Who told me i couldn't file bk and i would have to deal with them.My response was to ask the rep if they were an attorney to give legal advice!
