I just got a credit report, and decided to do the online dispute route. Quickly I found that that when you were asked for a statement you had a drop down menu of choices that you had to pick from and that was it! I finally found a way to express that a Charge Account was closed in 8/2002 by Creditor and listed in Schedule F Bankrupcyfiled the same year but the report erroniously claims the account went to collections 12/2003. I got my EMail resposne today from Experian it just stated Outcome: Reviewed , now what the heck does that does that mean?!
If it's listed as collections after filing there in violation of a court stay so you need to address it with the oc or ca.
Thanks, I presumed that from the onset. Considering I filed in Aug. of 2002 and somehow only Experian seems to show a Collection little red box on Acct. Summary over 12/2003 but the other CRAs report show it was closed 8/2002. Should I send a copy of the Matrix to both the CA, and the OC at this point? By way of Cert.Mail.
Send a copy of your bk discharge and let them know their in violation of a court stay(order),and to let them know if they remove it you won't sue them. And you have the case reopened to have them explain to the judge!
There was no need to threaten anyone! In Fact the Tradeline was removed! Upon finally talking to a real human being he explaind to me " the on-line " fill in the boxes format tend to leave some people in with unresolved answers or solutions to thier questions. When I pointed out it said Stutus:Reviewed he said it had been Deleted. It was an error that it was actully closed in 2002 and could not have ever been in Collections in 12/2003. Yes, there are reasons to threaten. Usually people don't get anywhere by being civil especially with creditors, their collection goons, and of course the CRAs. They are a criminal enterprise.
That is a little harsh. You catch more flies with honey than with manure no matter the context. Only when the honey is refused do you resort to litigation. And, creditors and credit reporting agencies are not "criminal" enterprises. They may violate the law but, those laws only provide civil remedies. In other words, they're not the mafia.
So they're not "the mafia". Call them cults - Jim Jones in Guiana type, David Koresh in Waco type, Nixon White House, the current (almost finished) Bush White House. These were/are criminal enterprises.
How many cases have you filed recently Greg? I kind of think one needs to walk the walk before they lead others by talking the talk.
