I have started the student loan rehabilitation program. I have been making the payment, today I had a bank run a credit report and they said that the student loans are showing up as not paid. Will they not show up as paid until I am completely done with the rehab program?
What rehab program? Incidentally, I was severely behind (8 months) on two of my student loans. I did a goodwill letter and got them to recapitalize the interest. While it wasn't the most financially prudent thing to do, it did let me resume making "normal" monthly payments instead of trying to cough up the $2200 past due.
