    I have a loan threw my bank that I have been paying on time and I am almost done paying it. When I am done will that boost my score?

    You should get a bump depending if you had lates.

    i never was late.....so how do they determine the amount of points you get for good credit on your reports?

    No one really knows how many points you get for certain things. You've been paying all along, so you've been getting bumps as the history ages.

    Ratios don't include installment loans.

    You may not see a great improvement when it's paid off--your score has been steadily increasing over the term of the loan.
