Confused about these Authorized User Tradeline websites NOOB HERE! Please bare with me Does anyone here know if those Tradeline For Sale websites are legit? Also, do the three credit agencies still consider authorized user accounts in scoring? I have a 555 right now with one old credit card charge off that I am in the process of paying off. They said they will update it as Paid in full once I make the last payment. I am looking to establish my credit as I was able to obtain a new better paying job recently. I am still paying off personal debt which has nothing to do with my credit rating, so I can afford a few hundred to boost my score. With that said, what is the best way to boost my score 100 points by July or August? If it is purchasing an AU tradeline(s), where can I get them? Will a secured credit card boost my score and how long does it take?
The credit bureau does not know the difference of account holder vs AU. If an AU is reported to the credit bureau all depends on the creditor. Some will some may not. You see people who just turn 18 get approved for half a million dollar lines because daddy added them as an AU on their half a million line. You see someone 18 years old with 30 years of credit history Nice gift if you ask me. Wish I got such a nice gift
Not interested in that right now. I prefer to raise my score so I can get a new car this summer and just establish my credit enough to be able to buy a house when I have enough money to put down.
Yeah, they are still scored. Just use a friend or family members card to piggyback off of. Make sure it is relatively old with no derogatory history and has little of the credit limit utilized. Do not pay for an aged tradeline. You will get ripped off.

What happened to "I haven't been able to confirm this"? Have you confirmed it now? Even if it's true, it doesn't mean all the reports on there are false. If they are then that guy had a lot of free time and a very active imagination. If I was on it I'd probably see things differently though.
Not all the reports are false but, alot certainly are. Most are easy to identify and they allow people to post under various names with no proof whatsoever behind their allegations. However, the crux of the issue with them is that they will delete posts or sidebar them if you pay them off. It's extortion.
Threatening to sue is not extortion if you have a claim. It is for a debt collector if they don't intend to. Extortion is threatening to do something or doing something in order to collect monies which you're not entitled to. If you're directing your comments to Apex Credit Services, LLC, we didn't threaten to sue anyone nor have we ever. We we say we will sue someone, we do. We've done so, unfortunately, three times in the past simply because we had no choice. That said, we did sue Xcentric Ventures, d/b/a Rip Off Report, and Ed Madegson in the Circuit Court of Kanawha County, WV. The case number is 08-C-1859.
