I am looking for an answer on how to repair my credit score. It's been a little over 1 1/2 years ago that I was trying to live off credit cards. I got way behind on payments and tried to go through this credit consolidation company to pay back my loans and they screwed me over big time. They got 1500.00 dollars off me and never paid it back and never paid a debt. I finally got help to pay the cards all back well not the whole debt but what they would take as a full payment through a bank loan. I didn't get behind on my car payment, I got one payment behind on my house payment ( which by the way is paid off now). My credit score is 709. Is there a way to get it better than that.
709 is a good score . . . need more info insofar as it is plausible that disputing even the negatives could actually lower your scores.
repair your credit score by using your card and paying it off immediately. Thats the most natural way to do it. Dont be in a rush to fix your score. You will never get it up that way
