What should my next steps be?

Hi all! I am very new here, but I did read all the required readings.. I would like some of your opinions on what I should do next in the clearing up my credit. I recently pulled all 3 credit reports, disputed several facts. I had medical bills removed from all 3 CRAs, 2 credit cards removed late payments (years old) and one collection from a book club was removed from 2 CRAs. Now, I would love advice on what I can do about the rest.

Wells Fargo CC.. I had two 30 day late payments in Aug/Sept 08 because my husband used my card w/o my knowledge. I had paid the card off and probably ignored any bills to the house assuming it was just going to tell me of my lovely 0 balance. Both charges were under $7.00, which is really annoying! I tried to call them and explain my case to the CS reps to no avail. One was blatenly rude and the other said the false statement of "we have a legal responisiblity to report the facts." At this point, should I be writing a letter of beg/forgiveness to a corporate office somewhere? Does anyone have advice on where I should send the letter?

I co-signed a car with my husband (notice a theme here? Never get married..) He paid late SEVERAL times to Toyota, 60 days twice and 30 days 15 times. The loan has been paid in full since 2006. I disputed it hoping that it would go away but it did not. Is this a case where I can ask forgiveness since it is paid in full and I was just the co-signer? Should this be done via begging letter as well? What would you do if it were you (divorce is given)?

Thanks for any advice you can give!

You could try a goodwill letter, with that many lates it's going to be tuff.I don't mean to be harsh but when is he getting out of high school. He seems like he dumped it all on you.

Feel free to be harsh because I totally agree with you. The man is 10 years older than me to boot! I never really knew he was making payments late, the bill never came to me and we keep seperate banking accounts (best thing I ever did).
