I recently ordered my Transunion credit report, and disputed two listings. They were both deleted, so I would like to try to dispute a couple others. When I go to the TransUnion dispute page, it just keeps taking me to the results of the last dispute that I did. Do I have to wait the 30 days til this report expires, then get a new one to do another dispute?

Nope- just send a written dispute if you're having problems with their online dispute system. It's better to send your disputes in writing anyway.

Yeah, I keep seeing that. I am curious as to why? I have submitted all my disputes online and I seem to have about 50/50 luck with that. Would I do better mailing them in?

The main reason is you want to document everything. Things that are disputed and removed unfortunately tend to reappear at a later date, and you'll want to have complete record of the first removal from the very beginning. A lot of people believe that well-written letters are taken more seriously and garner better responses from the CRAs as well.

I have printed out all the steps of my disputes, I don't know if that counts as documentation as well? And so if I do a mail dispute, I shouldn't just fill out the standard form? I should write a letter?

Your paper trail may be OK, but it's not as good as a paper trail that includes all the letters you've written, when they were mailed, when they were received by the CRAs, and how they responded. If you ever needed to sue, that's what you would want to have.

Also, online disputes may never even reach a real human being. A written letter should, which is one reason why a lot of people believe it will garner a better response. So yes, avoid the standard form and actually write your own letter.
