    Hello All

Quick question: why would an OC still report to a CRA an account that was included in a Ch7, discharged 3.2011 but still reporting monthly, example Cap1 reported in 6.2011? They are reporting correctly: closed, zero balance, IIB and the payment histories are wiped from EQ &TU.

What would be the benefit â?? for the OC?

There isn't any real benefit I guess, other than the fact they're continuing to report the discharged debt correctly.

    Thanks Joshua

It still makes no sense to me.

Right now I am beating my head on the wall - I have an utility that had a random 60 day back in 2009 no 30 day the month prior this was on both EQ and EX - I disputed the late and both removed the late but both closed the account and put customer statement of closed by consumer request.

Since was disputing a late asking to close a open/current/positive account?

But I was shocked at the results of the dispute with EQ - removing the late my score went up 3 points - redisputing the close - they reopened it caused a 9 point jump so 12 points total. Results like that really gives you the drive to do more.

Wow- I'm surprised they reopened after closing. Congrats on getting the late pays removed though...nice work.
