I can't find the thread sorry.
I managed to get ALOT of items deleted off TU and EX but EQ verified some items, I know there's something I can do i just don't know what?
Also I have a capitol one secured card 200 limit I'm only charging 20-30% and paying on time or early. When should i get another credit card?? I'm thinking i'll have 2 credit cards plus my student loans and a future car note. Does that sound ok??? Thanks in advance.

It's not unusual for trade lines to be verified on one or more report, and deleted off of others.

You can always try to dispute the tradelines with a specific piece of information which is incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable, and hope that it falls off.

It's hard to gauge exactly when it's best for someone to obtain another account, everyone's credit profile is completely different, and there are too many variables to be able to make a good guess...

I would stick with the secured card for the next 6 months or so, continuing to keep your credit utilization low, always paying on time, and increasing your credit limit. Once your FICO scores climb into the fair range (650ish), I would then think about getting another card with a lower annual fee, rewards program, etc. What are your current FICO scores?

Haven't checked fico yet. Imagine it's pretty bad.

OK so I went looking for a website to get my FICO score. Completely overwhelmed at all the sites. Any recommendations on a website for FICO scores???

The best place to get your true FICO scores is from myFICO.com

Ok got My FICO score, I got the quarterly report 4.95 monthly it says 625 but they don't have a recent score from equifax??? don't know what that means.

I believe quarterly monitoring only tracks your TransUnion-based FICO score and TransUnion credit reports. That's why they didn't provide your Equifax-based FICO score too.

Unfortunately, you can't get access to your Experian-based FICO score any longer because Experian doesn't provide it to consumers. They only sell it to lenders now.

What you got is fine to track the progress of your TransUnion-based FICO score. You can pull your Equifax credit reports for free via annualcreditreport.com and then compare the report to your TU credit report too. If they are similar, both FICO scores should be similar in theory. If at any time you need to see your Equifax-based score, you can always purchase it separately.

My sister in law had a prepared card with Capital One for $200 and after 6 months of using the card she was approved for a $2000 Capital One Platinum card. This card did not have a rewards program but had a much higher credit limit. She just applied online it was pretty easy! Thanks! Heather with BoostMyScore.NET
