    HI All,

I will really appreciate anyone can help me.
My score is 582 and 582 and the other one is 660. I need to increase it very fast to get a car loan. I only have one credit card of $1000 limit and paid off over $900 this month and the car loan of $4000 ( $400 per month and 9 months left to be paid off). In the past i have settled few accounts and there is no negative items on it. My wife owns a card have a balance of $6000 and also my father's balance is $4000 on another credit card. There were additional cards on my name from both the cards ( from my wife and father) but i have called them and removed my name.

can someone help / guide me to improve and increase my score? and how long will it take?

    please help!!!!
    thank you.

What is the credit limit's on your wife's and father's credit cards? Where you added as an authorized user to those cards? Do you know how much payment history has been established on those cards? Adding yourself as an authorized user to existing credit card account is the fastest way to improve your credit score. Where are you pulling these current credit scores from? Are they FICO scores? Also, what negative items are currently on your credit reports?

As Heather mentioned, adding yourself as an AU on a credit card with extensive history and a low credit utilization ratio is one of the fastest ways to boost your credit scores. However, if your wife and father are carrying large balances, that doesn't sound like a good option to me. In fact, it's probably wise that you removed yourself from their cards. That alone could have a positive effect on your scores.

If you wife and father's credit cards have high balances on them, I would remove yourself as an authorized user.If you still need some help with your credit score. You can also purchase some authorized user accounts from us. Thanks! Heather with BoostMyScore.NET

Thank you very much for your reply,
My wife and Dad used the card Max and they carry large balances ( to the limit). I did removed myself from those cards. How long will it take to reflect on the credit report? (FICO).

Thank you very much for your reply. It is FICO scores. HOw long will take to boost the score after removal from the other cards. ( from my wife and Dad)?

Nice move. You definitely don't want to be an AU on those cards if they're carrying large balances at the maximum credit limit. You may have to wait 30-60 days before they drop completely off your credit reports though. Your FICO scores will then adjust accordingly.

Even if you have been removed from your wife and father's credit card sometimes the cards will still remain on your credit report. I would wait 60 to 90 days and if they are still on their you might have to dispute them. It is a pretty easy process that you can do online. Thanks! Heather with BoostMyScore.NET

Have you pulled your credit reports to see if they're still showing up?

I have large balances on my cards due to my company using my personal cards for paying bills. So the balances get jammed up to the max, but are paid off in full every month. As a result I see with my Equifax monitoring that my credit score goes up and down routinely because of this. I get an update about every 45 days that my score went down as a result of too high balances, and then later that it went back up because that isn't an issue anymore. Happens all the time but there does seem to be a bit of a lag.
