Ok. I spoke with the courts and they reconfirmed that there isnt a judgement in my name. Where would I go from here? is there any way i could get this vacated?

I would get some written confirmation/documentation from them that no judgment exists and then dispute the judgment as inaccurate through the CRAs.

The way that Philadelphia courts work (so I am told) is that they use a search engine online and input our first and last name in the system to see if there is anything in our records. When I and the Representative did that, it said no records under that name. She also said I could come and search through the papers for a fee of $100 but I don't know if its worth paying $100 bucks to show that nothing exists in my name. Thoughts?

It's public information, so you can probably run the same search yourself too. Anyway, have you tried just disputing through the CRAs yet? If there really is no record there, then the CRA investigation should result in a deletion.

ok, I disputed it and in the results it says its still there. This is so frustrating! Will I be impacted if I hold off on paying this judgement for a bit? Since I have both the judgement and the OC on my report will this be a bad thing? I know that the OC is suppose to fall off my CR next year but I dont know where to go with this.

Ok. I have heard back from them via my DVL. They recieved the letter on 6/25 and I still recieved calls after that date but i didnt answer. They sent me information that proved:
    1. the company name Dell Financial services (what i thought)
    2. when my account was charged off
    3. Account history
    4. Payment history etc.

My CR says that my last day of del was 07 however, it show in my payment history (on the DVL) that payments were made in 2010 which i don't think I did. I am not sure if this restarted everything or not but I am confused as to what happened in that 2yr gap that i have not heard or received anything. Midland didn't show up until Jan of this year.

Sorry- I'm getting a bit confused because we're talking about 2 separate debts in this same thread. This isn't the judgment, right? This is the laptop debt that's currently sitting with a CA?

If so, it sounds like they sent fairly adequate validation of the debt, but the SOL has expired if the true DOFD was in '07. Have you sent them a letter yet regarding the SOL?

Try disputing it in writing and provide any documentation you have to show that no judgment exists.

Correct this is the laptop debt I am talking about. I have not sent it yet. Should it be as simple as saying "this debt is passed SOL? or should I add more to it?
