I called IC Systems today after I noticed a new report they made on my account and that my Credit Score dropped unexpectedly 42 points! They said they did a huge file maintenance over the last week with the 4 credit bureaus. Some accounts were taken off and re-reported to make sure that everyone had up to date and accurate information. It was originally reported in March of 2009 where my score took a hit. Now they've re-reported on October 13, 2012 and it hit my score AGAIN. What remedy do I have? It sounded like an error they didn't want to admit.

Welcome to my world. I am suffering the same 42 point drop from a re-report (of sorts). Is the account paid?

I'm working on something right now and I might get able to share it but I'm working with my attorney so I don't warn to say right now.

How old is the debt? What's the DOFD? Is it being reported correctly? The account, from what I can discern, was already reporting on your reports, but now has a new/updated either last reported date or date opened. Can you clarify this?
