    Dani,
Things are as good as can be expected. Lots of anxiety but no real trouble. Perception is reality I guess though so along with the economy, businesses are slow (hotels cabs restaurants). Believe me, I am doing my part to keep the bars in business. :)

Don't buy the farm (sic)... show these bastards that no matter what they try and do they can not alter our way of life. Live free.

Hope everythings well with you and your family.

    Shawn,

I like your idea. I was trying to figure out how to time disputes so the hectic holiday season would hopefully benefit me. This way we could all help each other.

Could not get into your website from your link just now. Will try again later.

Thanks for the idea and the "funnies"

Shawn, you're right. This is not one of the Great Ideas comparable to Keynes, Freud, Einstein, Darwin or Aristotle, but then again they never disputed anything with Equifax.

    I'm on board!

P.S. I love your daily moments of Zen. More, more!

I did some quick research and I think I am on par with some of the great philosphers....

    How about these ......

    "I dispute, therefore I am"
    - Descartes

"Spend simply, so that other may spend"
    - Gandhi

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the DELETION"
    - Einstein

    - Frost

"If things do not turn out as we wish, we should wish them through Planetfeedback"
    - Aristotle

"And in the end, it's not the inquiries in your credit that count. It's the credit in your inquiries"
    - Abraham Licoln

"A man that has commited a mistake and doesn't correct it, needs to call Bill Bauer."
    -Confusious

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it filed Chapter 7."
    - Mark Twain

"Starlight said to Innovis, Master, do you exist, or do you not exist? He got no answer to his question, however."
    - Lao Tse

"I distrust those people who know so well what FICO wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires."
    -Susan B. Anthony

"As you grow older, you'll find the only things you regret are the things you didn't apply for".
    -Zachary

"The CRA who makes no mistakes does not usually make anything."
    -Phelps

"Many attempts to communicate are nullified by saying 'frivilous' request."
    -Greenleaf

"It is hard to fail; but it is worse never to have Equifax remove the damn inquiry"
    -Roosevelt

"Our happiness or misery depends on our dispute letters and not on our circumstances."
    -Martha Washington

    OK,
Pick a date...lets all adhere to disputing on or around that date (a day or 4 before or after is good too)...I say lets try and pick a date near the December "rush", but not too close say ... Thanksgiving (an appropriate date) lets all send a dispute to 1 or more of the three CRA's on or around Thanksgiving.

    I am in!

Oh lordy, these were great! Shawn, I take back everything I've said -- you've surely now entered the pantheon of great thinkers. I just printed out your list of "quotes" and hung it on the bulletin board next to my desk, LOL. Thanks much. :)

    Shawn,
You are absolutely hilarious! Definitley one of the Great Thinkers.

What about multiple disputes? Are we going to go with a "Vitamin Theory" as in One-A-Day?

    Shawn,
VERY Funny! We now know without doubt who resides in the #2 spot behind Psychdoc on the Too Much Time On My Hands" List.

They're off topic, but my favorite troika of philosophical nuggets are:

    "To Do is to Be."--Socrates
    .
"To Be is to Do."-- Plato
    .
    "Doobeedoobeedoo"--Sinatra

That is honestly one of my favorites, and indeed an inspiration for my post.

I used to have a t-shirt in college that had that on it...not surprisingly, someone grabbed it.

I will readily admit to having way too much time on my hands.....if only I could put it to good use!
