Can anyone tell me the chances of getting late payments past or current updated or totally removed from a report?
I have had better luck when I contact the creditor. I try to find an email address and send them a letter saying that these late pays are inaccurate and failure to remove them will result in me taking my business elsewhere. Its up to you if thats the way you want to go, but it has worked for me. KHM
I think I need to reword this, if you have 30 day late pays when will it not look as bad on your report,or if the account is paid will they come off?
If the account is closed in good terms, it could be up to ten years. If closed for other reasons, it would last 7 years.
Thanks Bkev, still trying to get them off , they never told me if you get a payment deferal it will show as late 16 times
