And they deleted 2 of my CITI duplicates! Yea, and made one "never late." Also, I had another chargeoff deleted! Woo hoo! So, thats 4 that are deleted or changed to a positive status out of 7 disputed - 3 came back verified one unpaid chargeoff, 1 unpaid utility collection, and 1 paid utility collection. So, that's a Happy Lap Dance for me! : ) (no one said anything about no happy LAP dances.) BTW... creditexpert only up 8 points put I'll take it!
Thanks, Bkev. A few months ago, I didn't even know I could clean up my credit file, much less know how. I am so glad I found Creditnet and everyone here to help. I am feeling so charged - now that I've seen some good results I'm ready for more! Going to the post office tuesday to mail out some more disputes!
Nice job I should be getting my first round disputes back soon also. Maybe all of us will be out of the 500 club in a few months.
Not with Experian - they probably open their email wearing rubber gloves and a mask - that is how stupdid they are. Actually online seems to work well, at the very least you lose the delay of them receiving snail mail...it really depends on what you are disputing.
When you dispute, do you use the ref.# they give from a previous report? Also, anyone know if they keep records of what's been removed?
They do keep an account history of sorts.... but just for about 90 days online before it is archived. When I said online, I meant you can send certified mail online now.... no need to go to the post office. But to answer your question, there seems to be one major difference between online Experian investigations and mail.... NO LIMIT to the number of accounts that can be investigated. The pay-per-month credit repair organizations like to stay with 3 or 4 per month... I've seen/heard of people disputing every negative in the Experian file online with great results (not 100% but months ahead of 3/4 per try).
I have to go to the post office because I have to send verification of my mailing address.. what a pain!
well, i wish i could dispute with experian online. they keep telling me i "am served thru a local office" iand it will not allow me to dispute that way. equifax and TU are ok though.
