the CA sent my only collection account back to the original creditor back in august this year as uncollectable.....I wonder what should i do now to try to get it deleted early as it is due to fall off 8/2002 anyway......Thing is when i disputed to the CRA the CA sent it back as verified...this ofcourse was done in 2000 before being sent back to the original creditor this year.......I had an account with the original creditor is true..however, i never owed any insufficient funds and when i contacted them directly they didnt have any proof to validated anything because the account was too old and so they referred me to the CA that they sold the account to. Talk to the CA tonight that is how i found out that it was sent back to the original creditor.........i said all of that to say this...........what now? ....i certainly dont wanna wait till next year if i dont need too its already been a thorn in my side for 6 years....which by the way is the sol in my state even though it remains on CR for the full 7.......well talk to me credit neters..........PEACE AND LOVE
I'm gonna try and take a stab at this. I guess my first question is on your CR is the CA reporting it or the original creditor? I would think if the CA is reporting a balance and they don't have this account anymore and you dispute it with the CRA's they won't be able to verify it. If the creditor is reporting it then honestly I don't know what to tell you. Kellie
hi ty 4 responding....u r absolutley right in your summation.....but guess what the CA told me that even though they sent it back to the original creditor that if i was to dispute it then it would come bak validated because according to her i did owe this debt......bolonga!.......but im still gonna disput....i will keep u posted as to the outcome ........if there r anymore seasoned creditneters that have some other suggestions please oh please reply....ty in advance.....PEACE AND LOVE
