They broke the law Sam and of course you have no proof of it. The law means nothing to these people. Unless of course they can use it somehow to benefit themselves. If they can't, they care not one whit for the law.
Why not do their 90 days same as cash? They approved me for 27.99%. The woman must have told me a trillion times that if I don't pay before 90 days that that will be my rate. I told her come hell or high water I will pay it off well before 90 days to avoid that ridiculous rate. Kellie
I applied through gateway they declined. I have 2 good trade refrences and 1 shows a 30 day lat NOT TRUE. they seem hard to work with. No negatives besides the 30 dqy late.

Re: Gateway (Hurley State) calls me It takes about a month but with subpeona, the phone company can deliver a "hot sheet" that shows the numbers that came into your line (those going out as well). So there's proof after all. Also you may be able to subscribe to Call Tracing..enter a prompt and it sends the number to the Call Annoyance Center. Check with your local fone company.

had they offered me 90 days same as cash, I would have broken the payments into two monthly payments instead of being stuck with this 28 percent apr. I got the darn computer in December, it freezes up when I'm looking at large emails and I reboot at least three times in as many hours. They had the nerve to call me last week and ask if there was anything else they could help[ me with, more memory, adapters? software? hardware, anything at all? I answered with a ressounding no because after nine months of paying them, never late, for that 1500 dollar limit, I now owe 875! I am now paying them 180 a month just to get rid of them.
Eileen623 One thing you might try is to erase all of the files in your C:\windows\temp directory. I've noticed that when one of my computers starts to lock up it usually helps a lot to empty out the temp directory. One of several easy ways to do that is to load up your windows explorer program and work your way down through to the c:\windows\tem directory and then just click on them and start deleting. Hope it helps you. You don't need those files in there anyway.
