I have been having MAJOR problems with my local affiliate NOT wanting to do anything. To put it in terms there are 3 old winches who run the office, they have been there since the Berlin Wall was built. They gave me the run around over and over. I had some accts reporting as many as 7 times with the same acct number, company and dollar amount. They refused to delete. Another example: I was legally divorced in March of 96. My ex husband opened a furniture account in July 96 and it was reporting on my CR. They told me Texas is a community property state: WHO CARES? We were divorced. So one night in chat when I was down and out and didn't know what to do next along comes BKEV, my hero. He gave me alot of tips, one being the number to consumer affairs at Equifax. I called today and I had 19 items deleted on my report, all the duplicates and the ex hubby account. I just mentioned that part to them and said I would call back tomorrow with the details, since I left all my credit repair BS at home. Well I pulled EQ tonite and it's a done deal!! GONE FOREVER!!!

Wow! Great job! Thanks for the tip from Bkev. Local EQ office here too. Have not been brave enough to mess with them much YET.

Hearing that there are just 3 old women there is scary! That's what I'm afraid of.

Well my local office is in the hills of Good Ole East Texas, so what do you expect? Eventually they HAVE to retire I hope. Maybe you'll have better luck, but if not call Consumer Affairs.

My local office is probably staffed by 3 20 year olds who will outlast me!!

    Thanks, Christy.

They must think it means the whole community
It must be on everybodys report in town.

Remember, lbrown59, extra blank lines expand only the physical size of ones messages but cannot transcend their ephemeral nature.

I think 19 items deleted in 5 minutes would have to be a creditnet record for Equifax.

So glad to hear I was able to help. Just spread your knowledge to other people in the future is the only payment I ask.

I didn't pull the score AND report, just simply the report to see if they were true to their word. I am waiting to send out the validation letters and join CHOD then I will re-check score in January or so. That $12.95 gets expensive.
