I have a copy of a cr from Aug. that that lists my current employer as "since 1977" , employment verified 1977" and "in file since 1994". How could I have only been in their files since 1994 if they verified my employment in 1977? Does this matter? Is this enough of a difference to increase my score because of the length of time I have had a credit file? Thanks!
Ask Breeze how she was on file as being "older than her mom'! Not sure if it helps score...I think it is not even factored into the score. -Peace, Dave
If you have an old credit report that goes back past 1994 fax them a copy and tell them to fix it. LOL, they'll probably change it all to 1998 or something. They're on drugs.
OH , I sent them a fax telling them my correct date of birth, and they wanted a copy of my driver's license, I sent it. LOL
My girlfriend has been at the same employer for 21 years. Two of the CRA"s don"t even list her employment, and the other says two years.Go figure.
Those kinds of errors can work for you if you have other inaccuracies on your report. The best one I ever had was when they showed my residence as a street address that was actually the Koger Center in Richmond (some of my insurance co. mail was being sent there). I left it on there and then I would point it out and say "my whole report is all screwed up, see?" and they would believe me, because they recognized that address and knew it was the Koger center.
Breeze- Did it happen to be EXP. They had my banks main branch address as my address as well as my College's address, and I commuted from home. They make stupid people look intelligent. Kellie
I'm a little perplexed as to why one of the CRA's says that I have been on file since 1980. I wasn't even 10 years old in 1980?? I don't recall having a Visa or Mastercard then either. Ed
That is hilarious!! Dispute it and see what they do. hahahahaha!!!!! Tell them, "one of thses dates is incorrect, guess which one." LOLOL
