I worked for MBNA for 6 years before moving onto a better opportunity. They are one of the toughest banks to deal with when it comes to collection accounts. If you were to request such a deal from them, you should have a really sad story to tell a sympathetic ear (i.e. victim of fraud). Otherwise, you'd have better luck growing palm trees in Alaska. Please tell me how you accomplished that! I have multiple late pays on an MBNA account, and they wont budge. It was brought current, and I just closed it last month (dont need it anymore.) I went to PFB and was told they cant remove accurate info. Do you think you just happened to get someone who was sympathetic, or did you have some other reason to explain it? Do tell! Thanks
I used PFB to dispute some late pays on an MBNA account. The account was from 1996 and was originally on a bank that was bought or merged with MBNA. I think the combination of an old account + a merger = can't prove it, so they hooked me up.
Anyone else out ther been successful at pay for delete with MBNA? LizardKing, what would you file (or threaten to file) a lawsuit on the basis of? Summer
