The other day I applied for a Capitol 1 card using the online automatic approval system.. Of course, it came back with something like, your account needs to be reviewed by a representative.. We will contact you in 10 days.. Does this automatically mean I am denied? Is there anyway I can talk them into changing thier minds? What are the chances I will open my mailbox and be suprised. Call there customer service # and check the status...if it's declined they'll give you the reason, then they'll probably ask for a credit report update...if you want re-consideration...or you can call the consumer advocates office and try to talk to Mr. Cooke....
