I must be blind! I've done a search and read that people are able to check the status of their Equifax disputes online, but I cannot figure out how to do it!

Can someone elighten me before I lose my mind??!!! I keep going around in circles on their site!!!!!!!!

Does it matter that I got the report from ConsumerInfo?... is that the problem???

    Thanks!

I think the way they do it is, go on to EQF website and do another investigation you dont have to investigate anything, but if the item in question was changed to what you had hoped, say never late, the "this acct. was never late" option won't be there for you to choose. If it IS still there then either the investigation isn't done or it didn't come out the way you wanted. Hope I made SOME sense. GOOD LUCK!

Yes you can check your status. When you first dispute an item online it will give you a NEW confirmation number, write that down!!! Then you go back in and hit investigation, put the NEW confirmation number, it is is not complete it will tell you the expected date, however if it is complete you will see the list of your accounts, look to see if the option you disputed is still there, if it isn't ( example not mine, never late) then your item was corrected, if the same selections remain then the item was not corrected to your liking:(
Remember put your new confirmation number, if you use the one you got the your original report this will show the choices you had the first time you disputed.
