MBNA LOC - What to do with it?

I have a check-based line-of-credit product from MBNA called "Checkmate". Limit is 15.8k, APR is 12.99%. All checks and advances have a 3% transaction fee (min $5 max $30).

Compared to the fee-free 9.9% checks that I get from Amex Blue, the fee-free 6.9% until paid offer from Citi Plat, the fee-free Amex LOC at prime+2.9%, and a fee-free 10.9% LOC from my credit union, this MBNA LOC obviously sucks.

I would just close it except for the fact that it's obviously a good tradeline (zero bal). What do I do with it? Is there some other MBNA credit product that I can switch to? The transaction fee is the reason why I never use this LOC.

I might try to switch to a Platinum or maybe even a Quantum but I don't really need another credit card. How often does MBNA offer their cardholders BT specials? Not that it matters that much -- I have no significant balances to transfer!

If you get a MBNA CC, you can close the LOC while combining the limits of the two.

    Quantum?

What does Quantum have to offer? I understand that the APR is no better... Do they send out lots of special BT offers?

What's the min income? My FICO is probably around 750...

    $30.00 BT

OTHER THAN THAT, IT'S NO BIG DEAL.

    I still haven't got a credit line increase from them in 6 years...but it's $30,000+
