I did it!!!! Checked my FICO on Scorepower this morning and saw that my score jumped from 689 to 724!! I almost fell out of my chair! The most incredible thing is, "too many inquiries" wasn't anywhere to be found in my reason codes, even though I just added three in the past 2 weeks! It's good to know that my take-no-prisoners debt reduction is paying off! Time to refi the car before the score drops again--pretty much every lender in MD checks Equifax. Too bad I was denied for the Citi AA trick; I just sent a letter through PFB, so we'll see what happens.... Happy New Year everybody!!! )
Thanks everyone! I took advantage of the moment and applied online to refi my car through my CU, and I was approved! They didn't give me the actual terms yet, so I will have to call and check it out tomorrow. Let me take this opportunity to say I LOVE this board! Have a great holiday everybody!!
