Hello all, As I checked my mail today, I received two letters from citibank. I assumed they were denial letters for my Gold Application. I also received a wonderful $500 limit gold card from Cap. 1 (read my other post about that). Anyway, I opened the first and yes it was denail letter. I was denied because I had a card charged off with Citibank back in 92 and paid off in 96. Now, I also have been approved for 2 citi AA cards earlier this year. The second card was approved and then denied for the same reason. A planetfeedback letter reversed the denial. Then, I opened the second letter. It was a welcome letter for the gold card. So, which letter is true and at what point do I need to send a email via planetfeedback. I remember reading posts back during the original citi AA card days of people receiving cards after denial. Well, I wait and see if I get the cards. If not, then I send in a letter to corp. office. Mike G.
Don't say that!! I called a rep today to see about my app and he said I was approved, what are the odds of them reversing their decision? KHM
first of the priceless comment is beyond hilarious. My problem was that I had a previous charge off. If you dont have that, then you're probably be ok. Mike G.
