I had 5 pendings on my Experian and results were due 11-25-01. I just called and the lady said since these were NOT verified and it's been 60 days these will all be deleted within 36 hrs. So...will these come back to haunt me? Do I need to pull another report when these are gone to CYA, in case they try to re-insert these accounts. If these stay gone, I have little left to dispute on Experian. ALL my inquiries were deleted (that I disputed) as well.
no she just said they would DEFINITELY be deleted because of the time, but I asked about the 30 days and she said if I had called on 11-26-01 they would still have been deleted then. My thinking is that if someone didn't verify in 60 days they aren't going to so I'm hoping they wont come back to haunt me.
Christi- When they send you the updated report, HOLD ON TO IT!! IF it gets re-inserted the CRA has 5 days (I think) to notify you of this. So let's say you order a report 3 months from now and the stuff is back on there, I Think (ask LKH or Lizard) that if they don't notify you and you have to find out on your own, then its a violation of the FCRA. If you can nail them on that you could always sue, but settle for permanent deletion. KHM
