Erica, congrats. I think most of us who have the Target Guest card start off at a $200 cl. So your $300 cl is another mile-stone for you.

    Best regards,
    Mirage

Thanks, everyone....I know about that $200 thing. A few months ago, a millionaire got laughed out of the store by a few of his friends for getting a $200 limit. Now, I have to leave it at home when I go to work (Target) so I don't get carried away!!!!

Erica CONGRATS!!!! Maybe target sells forklifts and you can get one with your new card. Or maybe a new chair that has arms on it so you won't fall out <G>

Target gave me a $1000 cl. However, the balance on my first statement was $175 so they keep reporting $175 as my credit limit! I've disputed it, it's been fixed, and then the $175 shows up again the next month. Argh!

    nagak,

Target didn't report the credit limit of your account and they just report the highest amount that you owe on the account. They used to report the credit limit of the account a year ago.

I got the itch and JUST HAD to apply for something!!

I got the Target Guest Card but not the Visa (which I seriously doubted I would get!) but I'm super happy with the guest card for now! Only the standard $200 but I'm just tickled pink!!

Thanks Erica!! Your good luck got me feeling Lucky today!

    Congrats!

I've had a Target card since 1995. They do not offer credit line increases. I just applied for my 1st and now have a $300 limit after 6 years, wow!

    betacredit,

Do you know that you can request the credit limit increase through the automated system every threee months or so? I mean their customer service no:800-659-2396. They select the item"the credit line increase" and the computer will review your account for increasing the limit of your account. It will tell you if your account wiil qualify increase or not without inquiry on your credit report.
