Was scared, but I got it Applied online for a Zales Jewelers card the day before Christmas. Got the notorious message: Further processing. Got a denial letter today b/c of credit references... Anyway, I called and got a 750 CL. No questions asked. BTW, they checked EQ. On EQ, I have 2 paid judgments, a two car loans (one paid out), Cap One account, 3 Money Tree loans and two cell phone bills. All perfect (except the judgments of course).
Re: Was scared, but I got it I have Zales--it was a great card thru Jewelers National Bank It is now thru HRS so be forewarned. I have had more problems with these people constantly charging a late fee. My bank is now sending my payments ach and they still try the late fee tactic. I called and had a fit I now had proof that the payment was in their hands 2 days before the due date and they credited it 2 days after the due date. I told them one more time and I would go to my congressman or whoever it took to put a stop to their BS. Sorry for my rant
