An old dentist bill was in collection(not paid) with OSI collections...I have disputes pending with them, but I just got a letter from an attorney yesterday that he's now handling it and I should contact him within 30 days...is it likely to go to judgment, it's for $700(wrong)...HELP...what's the next step? The debt is from 12/00....

First of all if you have dispute with the account all collection efforts should stop until the dispute is resolved. Send them a validation letter, that will give you 30 days. Solicit the help from you Attorney General, thats what they are there for. File a complaint against both agencies. You have nothing to loose.

    Terry,
I disputed with CRA, should the agencies/attorney stop collection efforts with me?
