Well I look today and they have deleted all the accounts in question. The lawsuit is already filed..so now what? I still have the proof they violated the FCRA. Should I still say I want them "permanently" deleted and they will never come back? And still try to get some $$$ from them or leave it alone? Oh and they changed one collection account (not even disputed) to paid in full. grrrrrrrrrr I can't wait to see my score when CE updates tonight at 9:30, that is minus 4 negatives and minus 5 more inquiries.I am down to 4 inquiries, 4 negatives and 11 positive accounts.
Why not? Did you apply for any credit in those 60 days or so? Were you turned down? I say, go for the money.
they'll call you to drop the lawsuit. like I've said, ask them how much they're sending you with the letter confirming full deletion of all affected derogs. 1k is min, 2500 is a fair. They'll spend a couple of hunderd dollars sending someone out to defend the lawsuit (plus their daily compensation rate) and your lawsuit if firm. they'll lose. have some fun. you've already gotten some deletions. Go for more
Hey, monday morning call in and dispute every derog you have see if they'll take em all off don't mention it, see if they offer it.
The other 4 are in dispute now. I'm hoping they will "accidentally" come on off too. 3 I'm sure will stay though, 2 charged-off Capital One's and a charged-off Orchard Bank.
