    Hi everyone...
I have a $500 Judgement on my CR from a couple of years ago. It's from an old landlord not a big company, So i'm going to pay. Does anyone have a good letter to send this guy. I'll pay but I want to make sure he'll report it as paid, or can he get it deleted? ( It's only on EXP) I'm NOT good at putting together letters, thats why i'm thankful for sample letters, any help would be great. Thanks: )

Ask the landlord if he will agree to a motion to dismiss if it is paid. Get it in writing from him before you pay it.

I would have the letter , along with the motion to dismiss or vacate together, that way he can sign onto the motion and you can file it asap. with public records, what he wants to do really isn't a factor anymore. it is listed as a public record by the court and can be recorded as such. so, having it removed will take a motion of some kind. have you tried just disputing it with the cra? I might try this before any offer to pay. they have to remove it, if they cannot verify it.
