Can't tell you how many times I disputed this--maybe 5 or 6 times before. I checked today and it is gone, gone, gone! My Credit Expert is now up a wopping 2 points to 666! Now, if I can just get the tax lien off! cariba
Please, please post what your dispute was!!! My husband has a Ch. 7 and Exp. shows wrong liability amt. only by about $30 but hey--it's WRONG!) and TU shows "liability 0" so we disputed both as "liability amounts are incorrect" and no other info. We DID get Nissan MAC (who was reporting 5 30-day lates...there may have been 1 or 2, not 5) to update his report to "paid as agreed/never late" during CHOD. They had better--we called for an account transcript to show payment dates etc. and they couldn't/wouldn't produce it (the car is paid off).
the bk is within 6 mos of coming off anyway. they sometime remove it a bit early if you request and you're close to serving the 10 year bk prison term
drmgrl6 and mirabelle, INACCURATE INFO.--DELETE. (Actually, the discharge date was incorrect) That was all I said--I have discovered that less is more. I actually think the BK court became tired of receiving a form from the CRA's month after month! cariba
Well, hopefully they will tire of me, too, Cariba, because I'm gonna hit 'em every month, even though mine was filed in '97. They took it off TU so I remain hopeful. Congrats, again!!!
