Called today to check on my reconsideration, gentleman said that I was approved for 3500 cl, should get the card in 10 days! YIPEE!!!!! Just a little history:
Love, you got reconsidered? CONGRATULATIONS!!! What was the name of the guy you talked to? I would sure like to be reconsidered, I got denied on 1/04/02. My scores are higher than yours and I have what many would consider high income. Of course I do have that discharged 7... Love, are your scores reflecting the deletions or have your scores possibly increased?
The fax number that CS gave me was (301) 714-5958. Sorry, did not get the name of the guy that gave me the good news.
Unfortunately, I don't have a deletion of public record to fax to them. Yet. But God willing, I will soon.

Doesn't it feel good? =0) I converted the Silver Aadvantage to a Platinum Select (No annual fee) and just did a balance transfer (all Providian accounts...Goodbye!). I was only able to get a 6.9% BT for 6 months, not 0% for 9 months... but I'm still very happy! =0) Waiting for my Gold Aadvantage to arrive, but I might just call to have it merged into the Platinum Select once received. I don't like the thought of having to pay an annual fee on the Gold. Anyway, welcome to the club!!! =0)
