I have had nothing but problems with Ford AND Honda. Although I have to say my Honda car is much better than any Ford I've owned, I just don't like either finance company. The Honda dealer told me I could refinance with Honda after I "fixed the errors on my report" (I had to buy a car that day, the FORD I drove in STB right there in the lot.) Well they are pretty much fixed and I called Honda to refi and they said they don't so that and I was given false info. The dealer also promised to fix the leather rip in the car within 90 days and I called EVERYDAY to make an appointment but the leather guy was never there. A BBB report didn't do a thing. I will NEVER buy a Ford again, I would only buy a Dodge truck (their cars suck), or a Honda ANYTHING! :ff my soap box::
Absolutely. I agree with that too. It does appear that the problems stem from repos, ch 7, etc. Has anyone had problems with a current loan? I now have a FMC loan & I'm chewing my nails.
I didn't have a Repo, Ch 7, etc. with Ford Credit. My account was paid in full on Oct. 2000. There were reporting too many late payments on my acct, I had 2 - 60 day late and 4 - 30 day late and on the credit bureau report they were reporting like 4 - 60 day late and 9 - 30 day late and when I disputed it. They not only did not correct the late payments but they changed the status of the acct from I0- Pays as Agreed to I2 - 60 days late!!
