Citi Bank .....A little heads up :)

    Hi All-

    Just found out from CitiBank that they will not approve anyone for a card that has a charge-off or collection account that is over $250.00 and that account is less than 2 years old and the main report that they pull from is EQUIFAX.

    I can't dispute any of that except for the Equifax part. I believe most people (here anyways) have had Experian pulled.

    Old news :) I was told that a long time ago. They will however overlook older issues easily.

    No BK either regardless of score i think.

    They did indeed pull Equifax for me.

    P.S. Keisha, don't mind Sam. Everything's "old news" for him -- he's approaching his two-year anniversary (or more, lol) here. I'll bet your post was good news for a lot of folks. :)

    Citibank has always pulled Equifax for me as well.

    They pulled TU for me and my hubby! (not one bit of consistency here, huh? <g>)

    Tu here too! Citi told me it's based on which ever report is CLOSEST to your address.

    1) anyone else from ca get pulled equifax only?

    2) so if the chargeoff is more than 2 yrs old, I'm in the clear?

    They pulled equifax on me too. I think that they decline BK regardless of score.

    All this chiming in, we could start a chorus! We could call it the CreditNet Choir...

    They have pulled experian exclusively for me and my girlfriend...
    Im in california.
    They have also done an account review almost every month on experian but have pulled trans union for credit line increases.

    equifax for me twice, had a chargeoff for 350 but was four years old. Approved on both

    In Chicago and they pulled Transunion on me.

    I have a paid charge off under 2 years old, although it is not on my Equifax report. lol.

    I am just sharing the information that I received from the rep today ....and thought that I would pass it on. I am not taking this personal i just wanted to share this : ) , I live in GA so maybe that is jsut what they pulled for me.....PLEASE DON'T KILL THE MESSENGER ....
