It took about a week for me to receive anything indicating that I had been approved... I got the same message. RM
Ender, If I remember correctly when I applied, someone advised me to wait about 15 minutes after receiving that message and call this number 1-888-356-1006. Listen to the prompts and use your ss# as your account # and the last 4 digits of your ss# as the pin, if you get an account number, you are in. Give it a shot.
WOOHOO! I was approved for $25k!! Yay! Altho I don't really have anything to pay off at this time.. but it's great nonetheless to know that I have this amount available. I found out this is actually pretty awesome.. you only need to pay 136th of what you borrow per month. The APR is prime + 2.99. The welcome package is supposed to get here in 5-7 days with the first 20 checks. There is no annual fee, but there is a 1 year inactivity limit. The only question I have is this.. that if they DON'T report to the CRA your limit, etc. then when DO they? When you are late or chargeoff, I'm assuming THEN they report it? ANyhow, good to have one!
I tried searching for the LOC's probable approval levels and got a lot of mixed info...I'm asking for my husband--would his '93 bk (that ironically is in dispute at the moment) have any bearing with Amex LOC? I was trying to see if a bk was an auto-denial. Thanks!
Marie had mentioned that any BK would probably get a denial.. but I'm not 100% sure. Does it show up on the experian report?
