After disputing my ears off over this tradeline, it has finally come of Equifax (hopefully for good). I disputed it off TU as well. For those interested, it was paid and from 10/97. I have disputed it roughly 5 times. Anyway, this leaves me with Equifax 1 chargeoff from 95 (it's actually from 1997, but is reporting wrong...in my favor which is unheard of) I will leave it alone since it hasn't hurt me at all when applying and comes off in September. TU Clean Experian the providian chgoff, still my score is in the mid 700's and it didn't effect my approval for an AMEX LOC. what I did have Equifax 1 judgement 5 neg tradelines including chargeoffs from FCNB and Providian TU 7 negs Experian 6 negs I am now halting my process, I may hit Experian once more on the Prov CHargeoff, but I have really done a great job. Thanks to all, I am not signing off, just done with the repair process. I offer encouragement to all, IT CAN BE DONE. Matt bad credit..............not anymore
