What I want to know is does he have ANY negatives and if so what are they? I was told you can't have any unpaid charge-offs or collections and want to know if this is true.

I don't know what they pulled but all have one unpaid 136.00 collection. Only thing I am worried about now is what if things removed come back..will they take it?

ok so that helps...basically you can't have much of anything but positives..that's what I was told to start with. NO charge-offs to anyone (credit cards) showing and all collections must be paid or VERY old, so I have probably 6 months of work to do on mine.

    Christi-

If this helps the collection isn't old. It is about a year old. But there are no charge-offs. I had the late mortgage payments removed, I am REALLY worried they will come back when mortgage company reports next month and they cancel his dang card.

I doubt it. BTW ...CONGRATS to hubby, didn't mean to hijack the thread, i've just been asking this for weeks and nobody seemed to know, so you seemed the appropriate person to ask :)

When I got mine they pulled TU (I live in NH) I had 2 inquiries, 1 R5 (paid in settlement), I unpaid C/O from 1998 (now gone, but there when I applied). My score was a 540. BUT if you want to save your inquiry, hubby applied he has about a 530 1 unpaid CA from 2001, a PAID C/O from 2001, and 3 PAID CA's from 1999. and 3 positive accts. I did the DBB, with Citi and got the "when we process your request" crap. When he gets the results, I'll let you know.

    OHNO-
Did hubby put you down for an additional card (AU)? If he didn't, make sure as soon as he gets the card to go online or call to get one.

Will they approve with a BK showing?

I've got a few PAID collections and my BK is 4 years old.

    My scores:

    TU - 596
    EQ - 597
    EX - 585

    DO I have a shot?

I shouldn't matter all you are doing is getting a card in your name. They won't ask for a SSN#. It doesn't make YOU responsible for the account! They aren't gonna pull your report for CL increases and stuff, just his! GO FOR IT!
