I made a mistake to have paid a collection account that was not mine.Now how can I have that deleted?
I think it depends on how old it is. I have sent validation letters to a CA that I know I paid in the past. Once they got the VA letter they removed it from all 3 cras. I can say that my debt was 2 years old. I hope this helps.
Martysgirl, Thank for the response.The account is 5 years old.plus how can I prove to them that the amount or the date is wrong when I already made the mistake and paid it.
