I'm tired of writing letters, and sealing envelopes. I'm tired of worrying about my scores, and negatives. I'm tired of credit in general. I wish I knew where the post office is here, because I'm sick of not getting any mail. I haven't gotten any mail in over a month. I'm just tired. I'm not done yet, I think I just need a break. Thanks for listening.
Chin Up Erica! It gets tedious sometimes, but just keep replaying the victories. By my count, as a direct result of your efforts, you have gained a combined 234 FICO points and one husband. Pretty good, if you ask me.
Yes, quixote, you are right. But I think I just need a break from thinking about it. Maybe in a month or two, I can get back into it.
I can relate. Sometimes it all just gets to be too much. I haven't been around much lately, and won't be for a while; just too busy. Found out on Christmas Eve (unofficially) that I was going to be out of work soon. It was made official the first week of January. This right after committing to buy a house on a no down lease option and setting the move in date of January 26th. The house is the proverbial worst house in a great neighborhood, and needs major cleanup. I've scraped the popcorn from the ceiling, sanded, plastered, sanded again, and now we're painting. Move in is next week. Oh, and in the meantime, I've sent out over a hundred resumes, had a few good nibbles, a couple of interviews, and it looks like three of them are heading to job offers fairly soon, so I'll have to fly out of town at least once (two are out of town companies, one is in town) in the next two weeks for final interviews. Also trying to keep up with my daughter's basketball games, the social scene with family and friends, etc... Yeah, I'm kinda busy. And tired. GAWD, I'm tired.... I've got some burnin' credit questions I've been wanting to ask, but I just don't have the energy right now. but I will soon. I think I've got a pretty good case against Cap1. I'll post my tsituation and questions when I get a chance. Gotta go paint...
I'm glad you are checking in, weve (I) have missed you. Sorry to hear about the job, anything new on the horizon? BTW, read the other thread I started. Cap One charged me an over limit fee for 50 cents over my limit. Bastages! I'll just take a breather, and then come back in a little while. I just need a break. Good Luck to you! you are the only person that gave me that wave! You deserve one too, if I knew how to do it! lol
Erica... Sorry to hear you are feeling tired. We all end up in that sunken tired ship every now and then. Yep, you do need to take a breather and then get back to cleaning up your credit report. The final results are a great reward for all your hard work. Keep up the letter writing.....it will payoff in the end. =o)

Honestly, I'm tired too. My biggest frustration has been getting my scores over 700 and still not being able to get one single prime account. I'm hanging in there, but it is a tough grind.
ŸŸŸŸŸŸŸ Cheer up!! Take a break, put your feet in some warm water and epsom salts, put on some Yani or Zamfeer (master of the pan flute), Grab a half gallon of Ben and Jerrys kick back and chill. -Peace, Dave
Erica, let shawn run you a bubble bath and massage your feet...... it is a great remedy for anything when you are tired. I believe that world peace would come if people took more bubble baths...... relax.... you have come a long way.... you are my inspiration for applying for target guest card ( soon)
Me too. I haven't seen much in the way of results yet. Patience isn't my thing. Take a break and come back recharged.
Erica- Have you considered using a fax machine? That is what I have been doing. I just keep my transmitting thingamajigy. I bought one for 5 bucks at a estate sale. To mail one dang letter CRRR costs that, and you don't have to leave the house
