I FINALLY GOT MY $10,000 LIMIT (HAD TO DO IT MANUALLY)...don't understand what that is all about... $5,000+$5,000=$10,000... MANUAL????
When at first you don't succeed ) Congrats George...Don't spend it all on belated birthday gifts for yourself...ehh what the hell live a little. -Peace, Dave
They are STUPID w/that crap....when I logged my SECOND card to the accountonline, they told me that it would take 6 days to verify my bank account "again"(never mind that I've been paying on my Dividend Select account for over a year.....unbelieveable). Sister Girl
Took 2 calls for me, but I got all 4 accounts converted. The 4 accounts were all AASilvers. So thanks to George and others, I'm the proud owner of a Citi Platinum Select with a $32,000 cl. =-) Still chuckling over this, as my hubby makes 7 times what I make and his limit was $18.000 ($9,000 on Silver and Gold, converated to Plat. Select). Go figure. But I really think I'm done applying for credit for a long, long, long time..... WEIRD thing is both my husband and I have credits on our accounts which we haven't used yet... $4.17 for an annual fee refund? Ozzy.
Yes george. 60 days from the last application you made, repeat as necessary. I did this until they said no more. As crazy as it may seem you can do this endlessly, citi will Never question your motive or purpose. I keep thinking they'll say "no you cant combine/convert anymore.." but alas my credit line exceeds my income.. For some reason i think george makes alot moola, maybe he can get a 50K citi limit!!
I got a $4.17 annual fee refund too. Does that mean a $4.17 fee will show up on one of the other cards I combined, and even itself out?
Oh & congrats, GEORGE, & Happy belated birthday! I'm sure many of us have been wishing for the day you could finally get the CL you wanted!
dunno... Btw, you should never "pay" the annual fee when you convert.. They'll always credit it 100% if you are firm about it. Also, i converted before activating my last AA, and got a silly call from CITI Fraud prevention. They called me at work to ask if i received my AA card and why I haven't activated it. I told them to look at the status of the account, and the dude said Doh! Sorry.
