Didn't get back green card (rrr)

Well you have proof you sent it because of your reciepts. Go to the post office and check the status.

If a CRRR isnt immediatly delivered sometimes the post office will hold it for a few weeks.

if it did get delivered the postman would have a scan of it.

so whether or not they accepted it you can prove they got it... just with a little help from the USPS

Post Office has something called "delivery confirmation", works just like CRRR, except CA would not have to sign for it, the postman scans the ltr when he places it in the mailbox of the CA, and you get confirmation via www.usps.com Works really well if you have a stubborn CA that won't sign for a validation ltr.

 

I would give it a few more days. I actually got a reply from a CA before I even got the green card back.

I do think the post office is a bit slow these days on returning those sometimes, especially if it's cross country.

 

Wouldn't the green card be on it's way back to you as soon as the postman gets a signature?

 

Not to sound sarcastic, but maybe in a perfect world and in theory, but I personally have received a few replies back from the CRA, CA or Creditor before I received green card back.

 

Oh I have too (received response before getting green card back) I was just commenting to how things SHOULD work.
