i think tu lied about verifying two accounts on my dh credit report. it said new information below but alas, there was no new information... not even dates (verified 00/00) everything was the same. i just sent a crrr (using a procedure letter posted by Breeze last year) specifically asking for procedures and for deletion, not reinvestigation!!! what have other's done about this type situation?
I have the same problem w/ Equifax I sent an email & fax again this am I received another updated report today w/ nothing changed Same crap they sent 2.5 weeks ago If you have any luck with your letter please let me know
Uniondiva, I had the same situation with TU and sent them a crr letter asking about the procedure. They sent me a boiler plate looking letter stating, "Trans Union's procedure for investigating disputed information is to contact, by mail or electronic means, the source of the information. Each source is advised of your dispute and any other relevant information you provide, and is requested to verify the accuracy and/or completeness of the information reported. Once the verification responses are received, the disputed information is updated accordingly. Any changes made are reflected on the updated credit file that is sent to you at the conclusion of our investigation. If you have any questions regarding the results of the investigation, please contact the creditor(s) directly." Hope this helps.
