    Hi all -

Spoke with Experian last week about there "we won't re-investigate BS tattics". I came up with a letter and faxed it to them and guess what ????????? I beat those BLUE F*#%^& at their own game and it worked.

I must tell you that this credit stuff is requires a lot of patience. I thought Equifax was hard to deal with, granted they are but they will remove SH*(*, Experian thinks that they can sit on the phone and feed people BS, F(*&*(* Idoits

Sorry if I still seemed pissed.....well I am, I can't believe how much I had to put into something in the end that was so easy

    But it is O.K. now

    Thanks all

The pervious times I sent the "NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE COMPLAINT" I am NOT knocking this letter it just doesn't work with Experian, IT DOES work with Equifax and TransUnion, but Experian just didn't bite.

On (date that must be 30 days out) I sent a letter requesting re-investigation of a specified inaccuracy in my credit report. To date, I have not heard from you. I have made several phone calls in an attempt to get this resolved, but to no avail. This dispute was sent certified mail; it was signed for and received, which simply tells me that you received it. You have just chosen to do nothing about it.

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I am entitled to reinvestigation of inaccuracies within a reasonable length of time, which is 30 days.
Ã? 611. Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [15 U.S.C. Ã? 1681i] (a) Reinvestigations of disputed information. (1) Reinvestigation required. (A) In general. If the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in a consumer's file at a consumer reporting agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly of such dispute, the agency shall reinvestigate free of charge and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph (5), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer.
To date you still have not re-investigated the items that I have requested be investigated.

As this deadline has already passed, I am requesting that you delete the following inaccurate items from my credit report:

    Name Account Number
Name Account Numbe Name Account Number

I am requesting that this be done immediately and I will be expecting a current updated copy of my credit report via U.S. Mail within 10 days.

    Thanking you in advance

    Great!

Another letter to add to my files! I tell you not only does it require a lot of patience it also requires a filing cabinet!

I have all of my papers in folders in a small plasitc file box. After one more round I may have to move to a later cabinet!

it is amazing how fat those files can become in such a short period of time.
