Recieved my gold and silver cards last thursday and saturday. Called them to get a balance transfer, the rep said she would have to put in a request for it.

My question is are they going to send me an offer.
I know a lot of people have gotten these cards and requested a BT.

Did anyone get denied or did they send you some kind of an offer. That is one of the biggest reasons I got the cards.

Please let me know your results.

    thanks

I had 3 different CSRs tell me there was no balance transfer available for my product. I ended up sending a letter via PFB which resulted in a BT offer.

    Sam,

When you don't have anything to ransfer, they stuff you balance offer checks from the mail. When you need it, they denied you.

I will do the same thing because i want the BT too.

How long did it take them to respond to Planet Feedback and what offer did they give you?

Was it for the Silver or Gold or both?

    Thanks

I just did a balance transfer after receiving my Platinum select card (originally Silver Aadvantage that I had converted). When I was converting the Silver, I asked about a BT and the rep said to wait until I received my Plat card and then call to see what offers they had.

After I received my welcome info, called for BT and was asked my annual gross income and they would send me an offer within x days.

Received Plat card and called to activate. Asked again about a BT deal and was offered 6.9% for 6 months.

A few days later, I received the same offer in the mail.

I heard from Citibank the day after I PFB'd them. I had already combined the gold and silver into Plat. I got 6.9% through Aug. '02, I think. Not a 0% offer, but I think that I will probably transfer this to a Discover Plat as time winds down.

6.9 sure beats the 16.9 I have been paying on Providian.

I PFB'd Citi five days ago about getting my interest rate lowered from 11.9% to prime+3.9% and I haven't heard anything. Should I re-send, or do they sometimes take a while?

When they got back to me, it was by mail, so it did take a little while. Of course in my case, they refused to lower the apr.
