Are they still trying to collect from you? Make a list of their violations. One is that they didn't note the dispute.

Did you send them a letter telling them that the printout didn't prove anything except that your name was in their computer?

If you are faxing, do you have the confirmation pages? I think you need proof that they got the fax.

No a fax is not even close. You need to send these items certified return receipt so that you get the green card back. Even with your fax machine printing out a confirmation you can not prove they got it. You need the third party (post office) proof of delivery.

While you may get some results from a fax if you don't get results you have wasted your time and will need to start over to get the necessary proof.

    Good luck.

I fax things to certain CA's.
    1. ONLY if it's a long distance call, that way the phone bill is my proof as well as my confirmation page.
    2. I call and get a name of someone and in the letter write I spoke with so and so on xx/02 and they informed me the fax # is xxxxxxxx.
    3. ONLY if the 30 days has passed and it is ALREADY on my CR's.
    4. ONLY for the 1st validation, not the estoppel.

Basically I have faxed validation letters to 2 different CA's 1 CAowned 2 debts, that are already paid, and the other CA owns 1 debt that is PARTIALLY paid. All of these debts were passed the "you have 30 days to ask for proof".
