    I just checked my scores and here's the results.

    Equifax= 599 + 60 PTS!
    Experian= 583 + 20 PTS!
    Trans Union= BLOCKED?

    Would probably be more if not for all my recent Inquiries. This is just in about 4 weeks!!

    YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    COPIED FROM A PREVIOUS POST:

    Well here's what I have accomplished in roughly 3 weeks. (seems like alot longer for some reason!)

    1. Sent off all my dispute letters to all three CRA's
    (Did it again this week for Experian and Equifax
    because they had to "verify my new address"
    and I had to "re-submit my disputes" JERKS!!!)

    2. Got a FCNB Secured Visa $100 dep / $150 CL

    3. Got a CAP 1 Secured Visa $99 dep / $200 CL

    4. Got an Orchard Bank Secured MC $200 dep / $200 CL

    5. Will have a CAP 1 Secured MC in 3 weeks $99 dep / $200 CL

    6. Got a CHEVRON "credit-builder's" $300 CL / $30 Annual Fee. (BTW, these guys were awesome to me on the phone. For once I didn't get treated like a piece of @#$* second rate citizen because of my credit. Reports to all three CRA's and in 6 mos they will convert to a regular card with a CL increase.

    7. Was added as an AU on my Dad's Discover (Regular)

    8. Was added as an AU on my Dad's Discover (Platinum)

    9. Also have a new Jewelry Trade Line that should be reporting to all 3 CRA's soon.

    WOW! Seems like quite an accomplishment when you type it all out :)

    Now I am just going to wait and work on building history with these new cards. In the mean time keep on disputing, disputing, & disputing some more. Hopefully if all goes well, I should be in a lot better shape by this time next year.

    Thanks Everyone for all your help!

    Who do you have a jewelry trade line with? I am interested in finding one that may approve me.

    How do you get this card? I could use it.

    De Angelos Jewelers, Modesto CA (I think they are pretty small though)

    I applied online, and of course I got the "7-10 Day" message. I waited a couple of days and then called to find out the status off my app. The Rep said I was denied, but qualified for the "credit-builder's program". She transferred me to another Rep who took down some additional info, explained the terms, and said she would be sending out the account agreement to sign. Once they have it back, I'll receive my card in 5 - 10 days. She was really nice and seemed to appreciate the fact that I am working on rebuilding my credit history.

    Is this card unsecured or secured? Do you know if there is a way just apply directly for the credit builders card?

    It is an unsecured card with a max limit of $300. Works just like the regular one only there is an annual fee of up to $30.. I think you have to apply for the regular one and get denied to ask for this card. I think it's a great program. After 6-mo to a year they will turn it into the regular card and up your limit.

    Thanks J. One more question [ sorry :) ] Is this a gas only card? Or does it have a Visa or MC logo? Oh, one more... do the verify employment?

    Yes, only good for gas/snack purchases. I don't know if they verify, I gave them my personal work number for the "Work Number" and I haven't gotten a call yet.
