I sent a validation letter to a CA. If they don't respond to that or an estoppel letter what would I do next? Do I submit all my records to the CRA for removal?

basically, yes. after sending the validation and the estoppel and the ca has not properly responded to your request to validate the debt, you should send copies of the letters you sent, along with your crrr and request that the cra delete the information.

Couldn't you also send a dispute to the CRA asking for deletion if they don't respond to the validation letter?

Only reason I ask is that a collector has ten days left on my validation and I was planning on disputing with the CRA's come day 31.

    Just curious...

    I recommend:

    (1) Send the validation letter CRRR

    (2) When the green card comes back, dispute online immediately with the CRAs

    (3) After 30 days, if the CRAs respond with "verified this account belongs to you" and the CA didn't respond at all, then you've got a good case for permanent deletion.
